The Beginner League is the ideal entry-level category in Criclay - The Hundred Balls, designed specifically for absolute beginners or those with minimal cricket experience. This league focuses on introducing new players to the game of cricket, teaching them the basics, and helping them develop essential skills. With a relaxed atmosphere and minimal competition, the Beginner League offers a supportive environment for newcomers or those looking to return to cricket after a long break. Guided by experienced coaches or mentors, players will learn the rules, fundamental techniques, and key strategies of cricket, making this the perfect starting point for anyone looking to get into the game.

Anonymous players can participate in any league until they are categorized.

In case a particular category player falls short for any team in the respective league, teams can play any junior category player in his place.

The Hundred Balls Leagues Levels & Structure:

**Beginner** (Basic Level):The lowest level of competition, where new players or those with a very low level of competitiveness start their journey.

This structure allows for a gradual progression from beginner to pro , providing a clear pathway for players to develop their skills and improve their competitiveness. The Beginner league will serve as a stepping stone for new players to gain experience and build confidence before moving up to the Rookie league.

Player Categories and Criteria

Our league has established the following categories to ensure fair competition and player alignment:

Professional (Pro):

Players in this category can participate only in the Pro category with a max limit of 1 Player in any Team, but are not allowed in Beginner ,Rookie or Amateur leagues

Platinum:

Players in this category can participate in the Pro category and the Amateur category, with a max limit of upto 3 players in Pro and max 1 player in Amateur , and are not allowed in Beginner & Rookie leagues.

Diamond:

Players in this category can participate in all 3 leagues with a limit of upto 4 Players in Pro & upto 3 in Amateur category, while only 1 Player per team in the Rookie category. Not allowed in Beginner league.

Gold:

Players in this category can participate in all 3 leagues with a limit of upto 4 Players in Pro & Amateur while upto 3 in Rookie category & upto 2 in Gold Category . At least 2 in Amateur and 1 in Pro are mandatory

Silver:

Players in this category have no restrictions on participation in Pro or Amateur leagues, but are limited to Upto 5 players in Beginner & 4 in Rookie league. At least 2 in Amateur and 1 in Pro are mandatory

Bronze:

Players in this category have no restrictions on participation in any league (Pro, Amateur, Rookie, or Beginner). At least 2 in Beginner, 2 in Rookie & 1 in Amateur are mandatory.

Emerging:

Players in this category have no restrictions on participation in any league (Pro, Amateur, Rookie, or Beginner). At least 1 in Beginner & 1 in Rookie are mandatory.
